Sequoia sempervirens - Californian Redwood

A fast growing, very large and long-lived evergreen tree that can grow to 120 metres that hold the enviable title of the tallest tree on Earth however it will perhaps only grow to moderate proportions in Australia. It will need a large garden where it will become an an attractive focal point.
